FBI and CISA Issues Warning on Vishing Attacks

Vishing or voice phishing is a social engineering attack in which criminals call victims to obtain the desired information, usually posing as other persons.

Cybersecurity Researchers at CheckPoint have discovered 6 serious flaws in Qualcomms Snapdragon SoC and the Hexagon architecture that impacts up to 40 percent of Android phones in use. Exploiting these flaws can open up handsets made by Google, Samsung, LG, Xiaomi and OnePlus to DoS and escalation-of-privileges attacks.
