Dozens of apps on the Google Play Store were caught dropping banking malware

Cybersecurity researchers from Trend Micro have dubbed these 17 apps as DawDropper. These apps are available in Play Store as productivity and utility apps such as document scanners, QR code readers, VPN services, and call recorders. All these apps have been currently removed from the app marketplace.
